EuroTrip, meeting new people

Last year, with all the students mobilization, me and all Fau students had to take summer classes, but I didn't want to, so when my best friend told me that she wanted to go to Europe it took me like 10 seconds to say that I wanted to go with her.

We never planned our trip, we just wanted to discover interesting things while we were walking, so I remember one day, we were in Barcelona, Spain and we were very interested in all Gaudi's stuff, specifically in the famous church "Sagrada Familia", the beautiful Park Güell and the several houses that he built in the city. We didn't know anyone, so we always walked with a map (it was evident that we were foreign). We were in our way to the park and one girl stopped us, she was from Sweden and had just arrived in Barcelona to study Spanish, we talked about a few things more and then we asked her if she wanted to join us, she said yes immediately, she told us that she was very excited to be with us because she needed to practice her Spanish. The walk to the park was very nice, like the stroll and at the end of the day we went for a few beers and since then we haven't lose touch with Hannah.

I think I love that thing of travelling, because you know that you’re going to see beautiful places but you don’t know what kind of people you’re going to meet and that is very exiting.

  1. That's so true! is incredible how you get to know people and not realize and in the end of a trip has met and talked with people very different from you, who lives across the world sometimes, or maybe very close!

  2. To discover things you never imagined to meet is really awesome, and much more fun when you're doing it with new and interesting people.

  6. One of the best things in a trip is the surprise, travelling without a concrete plan is something that make you enjoy every minute because you dont know where are you are going be at the next one!
